Rapid resolution therapy vs. traditional talk therapy:
What is the difference?
A Path to Thriving in life and business with Rapid Resolution Therapy
The difference between talk therapy and rapid resolution therapy…
It’s always fascinating when I meeting with an RRT client…
I ask what has been going on for them.
They appear slightly anxious as they begin to drop into past events and experiences.
Before they can even “go there,” I quickly interrupt them, letting them know that we don’t need to go back in time to resolve their sense of stuck-ness.
As soon as I share this, they quickly take a deep exhalation and instantly feel relieved.
The difference between talk therapy and rapid resolution therapy…
The beauty of RRT lies in its non-intrusive nature.
It’s a multi-modality therapy that effectively communicates with both the conscious and unconscious mind, all without the need to bring up past events and experiences that could potentially re-traumatize you.
Subsequently, this approach respects your boundaries and understands the importance of your emotional well-being.
Simultaneously, the problem with traditional talk therapy is that it can bring up past events and experiences that have the likelihood of retraumatizing you and can leave you feeling worse off from where you started.
Undoubtedly, Rapid Resolution Therapy is intended to be fast, automatic, and long-lasting. It can clear a sense of stuckness in as little as one to three sessions.
However, with talk therapy, it has become the norm for clients to go to counselling year after year without experiencing any significant shifts or transformations.
